It's always a lovely moment to have an acceptance email land in your inbox, and it is with great pleasure that I can say that I have three short stories going to good homes in the near future. An announcement of one of these is at present embargoed (to be officially announced a little later this year) , but I can verify that 'May I Borrow You For A Moment?' - a queasy tale of patriarchal manipulation - will be appearing in the mighty Maris Morris' FEVER DREAMS published by Flametree Press , and that 'Barren' - an archeoolgical tale of folk horror - will appear in the wonderful C.M. Muller's HARVEST THE NIGHT: AN ANTHOLOGY OF FOLK HORROR. All three books are scheduled for release in October 2025, and the pre-order details and Table of Contents for FEVER DREAMS and HARVEST THE NIGHT are given below.
I've always loved autumn - now here's three good reasons to anticipate the witching season in 2025!
“And in the Firelight I Will Find You” — Luke F. Shepherd
“Our Lady of the Grain” — H.V. Patterson
“Barren” — Tracy Fahey
“Harmless Pretty Things” — Renae Rhoads
“The Bone Maiden” — Douglas Ford
“Like They Look at Stars” — K. Wallace King
“Feathers” — Shannon Scott
“By The Witchroot, By The Dawn” — Joe Koch
“The Skid-Steer” — EC Dorgan
“Haint-Blue and Weresnake Green” — Lisa Moore-Smith
“Unburnt Offerings” — Dexter McLeod
“The Darkness Inside Her” — Abigail Kemske
“Tall Philip’s House” — Katherine Traylor
“The Last Straw” — Sam DawsonA sincere thank you to Mark Morris for including my 'May I Borrow You For A Moment?' i

Really enjoyed this post! I’ve always been a fan of new era apparel for its bold style and excellent craftsmanship. Whether it's caps, tees, or team gear, everything feels high-quality and built to last. The brand does a great job blending streetwear appeal with performance-driven materials, making it a solid choice for both casual and promotional wear. It's awesome to see more businesses and teams using New Era to showcase their identity in a fresh, modern way.
